Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE)

ARIDE is intended to bridge the gap between SFST and the DRE program. This course will train law enforcement officers to identify and articulate impairment associated with alcohol, other drugs, or a combination of both. This class is designed for previously trained SFST practitioners who are proficient in the subject. If proficiency is in question, please register for an SFST refresher class prior to attending.

Prerequisite:    

Students must be:

• A commissioned police officer in Louisiana
• Currently certified and proficient in SFST

Course Fee: Free

Dress Code:  Agency uniform or business casual
