**UPDATE** Silver Alert: Assistance Needed Locating Missing Alexandria Man
The Silver Alert for 87-year-old John Kilbourne has been canceled. He has been found safe. Please refer all inquiries about this case to the Alexandria Police Department. Thank you for the assistance.

Rapides Parish – Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Alexandria Police Department for 87-year-old John Kilbourne. He was last seen on February 8, 2025, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, 3330 Masonic Drive, in Alexandria. Kilbourne was discovered missing at approximately 11:50 p.m. after walking away from the hospital. He suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment. LSP received the request to issue a Silver Alert at approximately 7:55 a.m. this morning.
Kilbourne is a black male with gray hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’11” tall and weighs approximately 190 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black and yellow cap with “Military Vet” written on it, a brown shirt, gray pants, and black shoes. It is believed that Kilbourne is traveling on foot in an unknown direction.
