Update- Please cancel the Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory for 9-year-old Jonathan Jones. Jonathan has been located and is safe. All inquiries should be directed to the Bossier City Police Department. Please remove any photographs of Jonathan. Thank you for the assistance.

Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory

Bossier Parish – The Louisiana State Police has issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory on behalf of the Bossier City Police Department for 9-year-old Jonathan Jones. He was last seen leaving his home on East Texas Street in Bossier City on Friday, May 2, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m. and stated he was headed to visit a friend. LSP received the request to issue an alert at approximately 12:16 p.m. today.

Jonathan is a white male with blue eyes and blonde hair. He is 4’5” tall and weighs approximately 60 pounds. He was last seen wearing khaki shorts, black shoes, and a navy blue shirt. Jonathan is believed to be traveling on a black and blue bicycle in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Bossier City Police Department at (318)741-8977 or dial 911. All questions should be directed to the Bossier City Police Department.
