*Cancelled* Silver Alert: Assistance Needed Locating Missing New Orleans Man

Orleans Parish – The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) for 90- year-old Noel James Reid who was last seen on June 16, 2024 at 1026 Burdette St. in New Orleans. Reid was discovered missing at approximately 04:00 a.m. on June 17, 2024. Reid suffers from a medical condition that impairs his judgement and has a documented history of wandering away.

 
Reid is a white male with gray hair and blue eyes. He is approximately 5’7” tall and weighs approximately 125 lbs. It is believed Reid is traveling on foot, wearing a blue shirt with gray shorts, and black shoes.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Reid should immediately contact the New Orleans Police Department at 504-658-6020 or call 911. All inquiries concerning this matter should be directed to the New Orleans Police Department.
