The initial investigation revealed the crash occurred as Robinson was traveling northbound on LA Hwy 67 in a 2003 Honda Accord. At the same time, a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound on LA Hwy 67. For reasons still under investigation, Robinson crossed the centerline into the opposing lane, which resulted in the Honda striking the Chevrolet head-on.
Robinson was properly restrained; however, he sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet was properly restrained and sustained moderate injuries. As part of the ongoing investigation, toxicology samples were obtained from both drivers for analysis.

Remind them to always wear a seatbelt, never drive impaired, and to avoid distractions.
