Strategic Support is composed of the Operational Development, Professional Standards & Compliance, Public Affairs, and Recruiting Sections, which work together to support planning, accountability, communication, and workforce development across the Louisiana State Police.
The Operational Development Section supports the Louisiana State Police through strategic planning, data analysis, grants management, policy development, and legislative coordination
The Professional Standards & Compliance Section oversees accreditation and supports policy, training, accountability, and organizational improvement efforts aligned with nationally recognized standards.
The Public Affairs Section serves as the department’s public information resource, supporting media relations, community outreach, safety education programs, and communication efforts across Louisiana and beyond.
The Recruiting Section is responsible for attracting, selecting, and supporting qualified applicants to join the Louisiana State Police through outreach, engagement, and recruitment initiatives.
