While not all crashes are survivable, properly wearing seat belts can significantly improve your chances of survival and reduce injury severity. Additionally, impaired and distracted driving continues to be a leading cause of crashes in our state. Troopers urge motorists to never drive under the influence and to remain attentive behind the wheel. Following these simple precautions and adhering to all traffic laws can greatly enhance road safety.
