*CANCELED* Silver Alert: Assistance Needed Locating Missing New Orleans Man

Orleans Parish – The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the New Orleans Police Department for 84-year-old Malcolm Flot. He was last seen at his residence on Flood Street in New Orleans on January 8, 2026, at approximately 9:45 p.m. LSP received the request to issue the alert at approximately 1:03 a.m.

Flot is a black male with gray hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’8” tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. Flot suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment. 

Flot was last seen wearing blue pajamas, white socks, and no shoes. He is believed to be traveling on foot in an unknown direction and walks with a walker.

Anyone having information regarding the whereabouts of Flot should immediately contact the New Orleans Police Department at 504-658-6050 or dial 911. All questions should be directed to the New Orleans Police Department.
