Orleans Parish – The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the New Orleans Police Department for 71-year-old Darryl Williams. He was last seen at 14500 Haynes Boulevard on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at approximately 1:30 p.m. The Louisiana State Police received the request to issue a Silver Alert at approximately 4:55 p.m. today.
Williams is a black male with brown eyes and salt and pepper hair. He is 5’7” and weighs approximately 114 pounds. Family reported that Williams has a medical condition that may impair his judgment.
Williams was last seen wearing a black hat with the words “Room Service” on it, a black Saints T-shirt, and black pants. He is believed to be on foot.
Anyone with information regarding Williams’ whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the New Orleans Police Department at (504) 658-6070 or dial 911. All questions should be directed to the New Orleans Police Department.
