Grant Parish – The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office for 78-year-old Sybil Richards. She was last seen on Monday, April 13, 2026 at her home on Louisiana Highway 472 in Georgetown. She was discovered missing at approximately 9:59 a.m. LSP received the request to issue an alert at approximately 11:56 a.m.
Richards is a white female with grey hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5’1” tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. Richards suffers from a medical condition that may impair her judgment.
Richards was last seen wearing a straw hat with a black jacket and black boots. She is believed to be traveling in a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer with Louisiana license plate OLR800.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Richards is asked to immediately contact the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-627-3261 or dial 911. All questions should be directed to the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office.
