Scott – Detectives with the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit (LSP-SVU) initiated an investigation into allegations involving the downloading of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) at a residence in Scott. As a result of the investigation, detectives arrested 43-year-old Timothy White of Scott.
On May 19, 2026, detectives executed a search warrant at the residence. During the search, electronic devices were seized and submitted for forensic examination. Upon completion of the forensic examination, investigators identified evidence believed to be associated with the investigation.
On August 12, 2026, the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office executed the arrest warrant at White's residence. White was arrested and booked into Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on these charges:
Child Sexual Abuse Material (1 count)
Child Sexual Abuse Material under 13 years old (11 counts)
This case remains under investigation, and additional information may be released when appropriate.
