Moreauville – This morning, at approximately 12:19 a.m., Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop E responded to a single-vehicle crash on MP Cutoff Road. The crash claimed the life of 41-year-old Milton Bell III of Mansura.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2015 Suzuki GSX 600, driven by Bell, was traveling west on MP Cutoff Road. For reasons still under investigation, Bell’s vehicle exited the roadway and collided with a culvert.
Bell, who was wearing a DOT-approved helmet at the time of the crash, sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Impairment is unknown; however, standard toxicology samples were taken and submitted for analysis. This crash remains under investigation.
Troopers urge all motorists to make responsible decisions while operating a motor vehicle.
