Cameron – On February 5, 2026, shortly before 10:00 a.m., detectives with the Louisiana State Police Force
Investigation Unit (FIU) were requested to investigate a shooting incident that occurred on Parish Line Road.
One subject sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. No officers discharged their service
weapons or were injured during the incident.
FIU detectives are working to process the scene and gather further information. This is an active investigation,
and further information will be released when it becomes available.
