Louisiana State Police Detectives Investigating Delhi Police Department

Officer-Involved Shooting

Richland Parish – On June 25, 2024, at approximately 5:30 a.m., Detectives with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations were requested by the Delhi Police Department to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred on Baker Street in Delhi. Investigators are working to process the scene and gather further information.

No officers or subjects were harmed during the incident. This is an active investigation, and further information will be released when it becomes available.
