Joint Investigation Leads to Child Trafficking Arrests

Baton Rouge – Overnight, the Louisiana State Police-Special Victims Unit (LSP-SVU), working in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Gonzales Police Department, arrested four individuals on charges related to trafficking of children for sexual purposes.


After receiving information about a missing juvenile from Texas, believed to be in the Gonzales area, investigators successfully located the juvenile through various investigative methods. The investigation resulted in the arrests of 20-year-old Kiara Davis of Gonzales, 19-year-old Jayden Hodge of Dallas, TX, 21-year-old Antonio Jackson of Phoenix, AZ, and 18-year-old La'Niyia Campbell of Dallas, TX were made. Each individual has been charged under L.R.S. 14:46.2 - Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes. All four were booked into the Ascension Parish Jail. The juvenile is now safe and placed into the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services. These cases remain under investigation.
