Webster Parish – On October 23, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations/Bossier Field Office arrested a Springhill Police Department Officer for a criminal offense. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 43-year-old Amandia Hamilton of Shongaloo.

The investigation began in September 2025 when Investigators learned that Hamilton, while in her official position, provided unauthorized license plate query results to a family member for personal gain.

As a result of the investigation and information obtained, an arrest warrant was obtained through the 26th JDC, charging Hamilton with malfeasance in office. Hamilton turned herself in to authorities yesterday afternoon and was processed in the Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center on the above charge.
