Four Killed, Two Injured in Early Christmas Morning Crash in St. James Parish

Gramercy – At approximately 3:45 a.m. on December 25, 2025, Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop A began investigating a two-vehicle crash on LA 641, south of Interstate 10, in St. James Parish. The crash resulted in the deaths of 35-year-old Tyreione Parker, 29-year-old Kedrick Robertson, and 35-year-old Gevin Harvey, all of Baton Rouge, as well as 22-year-old Christina Gillam of Shreveport.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Parker was driving a 2008 Honda Accord north on LA 641. At the same time, a 2019 GMC Sierra was traveling south on LA 641. For reasons still under investigation, Parker lost control of the Honda, began to rotate, entered the southbound lane, and struck the GMC.

Parker, who was unrestrained, suffered fatal injuries and died on the scene. Robertson, the front passenger, and the rear passengers, Gillam and Harvey, were all unrestrained and suffered severe injuries. They were transported to local hospitals and later succumbed to their injuries. A 13-year-old rear-seat passenger was also improperly restrained during the crash and was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

The driver of the GMC was properly restrained, sustained moderate injuries, and was transported to a local hospital. Impairment is unknown; however, standard toxicology samples were obtained and will be submitted for analysis as part of the ongoing investigation.

Troopers wish to remind motorists to always make responsible choices when driving: avoid impairment, fatigue, and distractions. Follow traffic laws and ensure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained. While not all crashes are survivable, simple precautions like these can save lives.
