Former Oakdale City Employee Arrested for Malfeasance in Office
Allen Parish – The Louisiana State Police Criminal Intelligence Unit - Alexandria Field Office (CIU-AFO) recently concluded an investigation involving a former Oakdale city employee accused of unethical conduct in the municipal property bidding process.
CIU-AFO initiated the investigation after receiving credible information that 50-year-old Alison Doyle, a former employee of the City of Oakdale and spouse of Oakdale Police Chief Chad Doyle, conspired with Chandrakant “LaLa” Patel to manipulate the bidding process for two city-owned properties. Investigators conducted a thorough review and found sufficient evidence to substantiate the allegations.
As a result of the investigation and information obtained, Alison Doyle was arrested and charged with two counts of malfeasance in office (felony) and processed at the Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office Jail.
Louisiana State Police remains committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability in public service. We appreciate the cooperation of local officials and members of the community throughout this investigation.
