Initial Release April 8, 2026:

AMBER ALERT

East Baton Rouge Parish – The Louisiana State Police has issued an AMBER Alert on behalf of the Baton Rouge Police Department for Ian Castellanos, who is believed to have been abducted by an unidentified black male. He was abducted at approximately 7:00 a.m. from 4650 Airline Highway in Baton Rouge. LSP received the request to issue an AMBER Alert at approximately 8:18 a.m. 

Castellanos is a 1-year old Hispanic male with black curly hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown sweater and khaki pajama pants.

The suspect reportedly stole the mother’s vehicle from a local gas station and fled with the child in the backseat. He was last seen wearing all black clothing and brown boots. He is believed to be armed.

The suspect and Castellanos are believed to be traveling in a gray 2013 Toyota Tundra bearing Louisiana license plate C372710.
