Arrest Made Following Joint Operation in St. Martin Parish 

Breaux Bridge – On February 26, 2025, the Louisiana State Police and the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control conducted a joint operation at the Henderson Hwy One Stop located on Louisiana Highway 352 in Breaux Bridge. The operation resulted in the seizure of 716 illegal vaping products, 154 unauthorized CBD products, 106 nitrous oxide cartridges, and eight illegal gaming devices. 

As a result of the investigation, 45-year-old Moehammed Dubashi of Youngsville was arrested on March 6, 2025, and processed at the St. Martin Parish Jail on the charges of LA RS 14:90 A (2) – Illegal Gambling, LA RS 27:440 (B) – Unauthorized Gaming Devices (8 counts), and LA RS 40:989(C) – Dangerous Chemical Substances (Nitrous Oxide). The investigation remains active and ongoing.

Joint Operation Leads to Seizure of Illegal Vaping, CBD, and Gaming Devices in St. Martin Parish  

Breaux Bridge – In February 2025, agents with the Louisiana State Police Gaming Enforcement Division received information from agents with the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control (ATC) regarding illegal gaming and other unlawful activities at the Henderson Hwy One Stop located on Louisiana Highway 352 (Henderson Highway) in Breaux Bridge. 

On February 26, 2025, LSP and ATC conducted a joint operation at the business, executing a search warrant that resulted in the seizure of 716 illegal vaping products, 154 unauthorized CBD products, 106 nitrous oxide cartridges, and eight illegal gaming devices. The investigation remains ongoing, with arrests anticipated to follow.  

This operation highlights the effectiveness of inter-agency collaboration in combating activities that endanger public health and safety. LSP is committed to the strict regulation and control of statutorily authorized gaming entities in conjunction with the Louisiana Gaming Control Board (LGCB). The regulation of gaming and the enforcement of criminal gambling laws promote the public's health, safety, and welfare by safeguarding the people of this state against corrupt and dishonest practices.
