*Canceled* Silver Alert: Assistance Needed Locating New Orleans Man

UPDATE: Mr. Lenoir was located safe and is being evaluated by medical personnel. The Silver Alert is cancelled. Please direct any questions to the New Orleans Police Department. 

Original Release April 5, 2024:

Orleans Parish – Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the New Orleans Police Department for 65-year-old Johnny Lenoir.  Lenoir was last seen at approximately 7:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, walking away from his home in the 4500 block of Sierra Madre in New Orleans.


Lenoir is a black male with brown eyes and gray hair.  He is 5’11” tall and weighs approximately 210 pounds. He was last seen on video surveillance wearing black pants and a burgundy shirt. 


Family members confirm that Lenoir suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment.  Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the New Orleans Police Department at 504-658-6591 or dial 911.  All questions should be directed to the New Orleans Police Department.
