Louisiana State Police Welcomes New Troop Commanders and Patrol Command Inspectors

Baton Rouge – In recent weeks, Louisiana State Police Superintendent Colonel Robert P. Hodges has appointed four new Region Majors (Command Inspectors) and five new Troop Commanders throughout the state. These individuals were chosen by Colonel Hodges for their alignment with the shared vision for our state, as articulated by Governor Landry and Colonel Hodges: "One Team, One Dream, One Louisiana."

The promotional process involves evaluating an officer's skills, experience, and performance. By promoting those who excel in their roles and exhibit strong leadership qualities, we can ensure our leadership ranks are filled with competent and dedicated individuals who will effectively manage and lead our teams.

Region Major Promotions:

· Major Hiram L. Mason, Region I Command Inspector – Troop A, Troop B, Troop L

· Major Beau J. Comeaux, Region II Command Inspector – Troop C, Troop I, Troop D

· Major Michael Mayeux, Region III Command Inspector – Troop E, Troop F, Troop G

· Major Donovan T. Archote, Troop NOLA Command Inspector – New Orleans

Troop Commander Promotions:

· Captain Joseph "Joey" W. Piglia III, Troop B Commander – Kenner

· Acting Commander, Lt. Kevin Resweber, Troop C Commander – Gray

· Captain George "Trey" F. Strickland III, Troop G Commander – Bossier City

· Captain Jonathan Neck, Troop I Commander – Lafayette

· Captain Louis D. Calato, Troop L Commander – Mandeville

· Captain Valentine Emery III, Troop NOLA Commander – New Orleans
