Baton RougeThe Louisiana State Police, under the leadership of Colonel Lamar Davis, in partnership with Evalv IQ and Cyber.org, are proud to announce a unique Cybersecurity Forensics Camp for children ages 11 - 14. The camp will be held at the Louisiana State Police Training Academy (7901 Independence Blvd Baton Rouge, LA 70806) on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This one-of-a-kind camp will offer engaging hands-on experience where attendees can gain insights into law enforcement and the burgeoning field of cybersecurity. Students will be divided into teams and paired with a law enforcement specialist who will help them solve various simulated cybercrimes throughout the day.

In addition to the hands-on activities, Kim Hunter Reed, Ph.D., Louisiana’s Commissioner of Higher Education, will be speaking to the participants in the afternoon, providing invaluable insight and encouragement to the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

Due to limited spaces, pre-registration is required to ensure that each participant receives individual attention and guidance. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided by our generous sponsors, including The Louisiana State Trooper Foundation, Future Tech City Collaborative, & Lemonade Creative.
