Louisiana State Police Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting

Evangeline Parish- On June 19, 2023, at approximately 4:00 A.M., the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office requested Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations to investigate an officer-involved shooting on Louisiana Highway 13 at Junction Road in Evangeline Parish. At least one subject was shot and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No officers were injured during the incident.

This is an active scene, please utilize alternate routes around the area to allow for the movement of emergency vehicles and investigative personnel.
