Operation Troop 'A'ssist

This is your opportunity to help direct enforcement efforts throughout the Troop A area. Captain Frank Ducote and the four shift supervisors at Troop A will review your input and will set up small task force elements to patrol the areas that you, the motoring public, see as a problem area. We are asking that you email us regarding a specific location and time that is experiencing significant problems with aggressive driving, speeding, or any other traffic problems of which we need to be aware.

Please keep in mind that while we have law enforcement jurisdiction throughout the state, our primary enforcement efforts take place on Federal and State Highways and Interstate systems, all outside of Incorporated Areas (City Limits). Should you have a problem with parish roads or roadways inside an incorporated area, please contact the Sheriff's Office or local police department in that area.
